Terms of Service

The Sheep Shed sells finished handmade home decor and DIY craft kits, plus a service membership. We do not provide building, fitting, structural, installation, repair or any trade/contracting service. Prices are in US dollars (USD).

An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm your order. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurs) and will refund any payment taken. As items are handmade, natural texture and gentle variation are normal and photographs are indicative.

Some kits contain sharp tools (such as felting needles) and small parts:

• Kits containing needles or small parts are intended for ages 14 and over, with adult guidance.
• Small parts and tools are a choking or injury hazard and must be kept away from young children.
• Follow the instructions supplied and store tools safely between uses.

Our candles are hand-poured soy/plant wax. For your safety:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended and never burn near flammable items.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets, and burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Trim the wick between uses and stop use when a small amount of wax remains.

Our products contain no fireworks, pyrotechnic or explosive elements of any kind.

For personalised-name pieces, you are responsible for the text you submit. It must be your own or properly licensed, and must not be offensive or infringe anyone’s rights. See our Personalisation & Content terms. Personalised items are made to order and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Membership (Cosy Club and Maker+) is a service subscription giving perks such as member pricing, free shipping, patterns and, on Maker+, a quarterly kit shipment. Perks have no cash value, do not roll over and cannot be exchanged for cash. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel anytime and keep your perks until the end of the current period. See the Returns & Refunds policy for membership refunds.

Accounts and purchases are not available to anyone under 13. Shoppers aged 13–17 must have a parent or guardian’s consent to buy. Kits with tools or small parts carry a 14+ age guide.

Payment is taken securely at checkout by Stripe. Delivery timescales and costs are in our Shipping & Delivery policy, and your cancellation and return rights are in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of your order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
